Robert Clack art workshop (year 2)

Mono printing workshop

DSC_0104.JPG

Robert Clack School have been involved in “The Rivers of the World Project” studying the Tiete river in Brazil. We have been researching pollution and the environment issues in the river and the surroundings of the river Tiete. However, we have found an artistic way of showing this pollution! We have been drawing cars, researching pictures and one of our main activities is Mono- printing. Once our project is nearly complete, Pete will scan our Mono prints into the computer to create a 2 metre size poster. This poster will be shown at the Thames Festival (by the River Thames) and millions of people will see our masterpiece!

This is the area to document your art workshops when the artists come and visit your school – have fun and be creative!

  • Why don’t you add a list of the participating pupils?

  • You could take and embed a group photo as a way of introducing the pupils involved in the project

  • You can start a gallery and show images of the workshop process

  • You could create a collage effect and show the final work of all the pupils

  • The pupils could each write a ‘blog’ about the their workshop process and what they have learnt and enjoyed

  • Film and record the workshops and add podcasts and video clips to your page
