Petzelt Jozsef Vocational Secondary School and Mount Carmel Technology College
2010 River Artworks
The water is the place of parties, summer, youth and freedom, illustrated in the students’ artworks made using chalk pastel.
Pupils studied Hungarian folk tales and their emphasis on forests. They made observational drawings of trees, making the knots into eyes, to produce a 3-D pop-up forest.
2009 River Artworks
The group depicted the openness of historical Szentendre and its people.
The pupils made drawings based on fat from fast food collecting in the sewage tunnels and the ensuing cockroach problem.
‘The most enjoyable part of the project was… drawing, colouring, scanning in pictures. EVERYTHING!’ Paige Bothroyd (pupil), Mount Carmel College
